OK, I'm fairly certain I know the answer to this, but figured I'd ask and hopefully the more technically adept would have a solution.
Can I use custom symbols with my Oregon 300 and the latest version of BaseCamp? Familiar sounding story, many of the symbols currently offered stink. I want to use some of my own to identify trailheads, geographic features I encounter, structural landmarks other than 3 versions of log cabin or tent, etc.
I've got several symbol menus with plenty of open "slots" if I can't create my own "custom" menu..
Outdoors-4 open slots
Hunting-10 open slots
Marine-4 open slots
Civil-10 open slots
Transportation-10 open slots
Navaids-10 open slots
Signs-4 open slots
Points of Interest-4 open slots
Even if I can't create a custom menu, can I add to the above empty slots or maybe edit the symbols that already exist?
