When printing a topo map from base camp I want to be able to set the map scale to 1:24000 or 1:50000 or... Is it possible to do this? The map that I just printed is 1:22,791, which is close (but no cigar).
Okay, thanks for the information. I hope that the feature is added so the maps can be used with a compass for field navigation. My solution to the above-mentioned map was to print it at 95% scale which gave me a map of 1:24,081.
It may also be a good idea to put tics on the map borders to indicate the Lat/Lon and UTM grids. As it is, the long labels give no indication of their location on the map.
