running two simultaneous instances of BaseCamp

I think I read of someone running two instances of BaseCamp simultaneously but cannot find the post. Can it be done and how?

I tried starting a second instance without success and also tried starting it from the command line with the "/?" switch (latest BaseCamp version and Windows XP SP3).

You can run BaseCamp with the /AllowMultipleInstances parameter, i.e. "BaseCamp.exe /AllowMultipleInstances".

Use at your own risk.

Just create a shortcut to BaseCamp on your desktop. Right-click it, select Properties, append space /allowmultipleinstances after the last quote-sign.
Then you can open as many as you want by doubleclicking the shortcut.
You may get into trouble with the database if you do changes to more than one at a time. I have not tried to do that.
