It's a great feature to show the position of the photos on my track as waypoints, but with a lot of photos on the track it starts to completely obscure it. Often times all I see is a trail of photo thumbnails. Having a feature to "turn off" geotagged photos would help immensely. I'm sure the same functionality could extend to waypoints, etc.
The floating properties window is almost a step backwards. Sure, it's bigger and shows more, but it also now always covers something else on the interface. Dockable windows would solve this.
Along those lines, I'd suggest moving the Properties menu item to view and adding a button for it in the view toolbar.
What happened to the ability to filter the types of data in the items list?
And the big one...it would be great to have map pan controls similar to Google Earth. That is, holding down Shift before panning the map allows you to spin or tilt the map based on a fixed point on the map (whereever the cursor was). Holding down Ctrl fixes your viewpoint and spins/tilts the map. Honestly just one of those would be adequate or something similar. Basically, mimic the behavior of GE and you're golden.
Edit: this was supposed to be posted in the Windows area but due to log in problems with the forum the post ended up here. Hopefully the features still apply.
Edit Falagar: Moved to Windows forum.
