Can't Delete Waypoints in Basecamp

I have two waypoints that were placed in Basecamp (not loaded from a device). These waypoints don't show up under "My Collections", which, if I understand correctly, would be where I would delete these waypoints. How do I get rid of these waypoints??

Honestly, I fail to understand why Garmin didn't add a right click menu to the waypoints-right click the waypoint, choose delete, done. Why companies remove perfectly functional and intuitive interface elements is a mystery.

Can you show us a screendump?

Is it really a user waypoint or a POI?
If you click on the waypoint, it should show up in your library-lists

I did manage to figure out how to delete the waypoints, but now I can't figure out how to make the Properties tab appear when i select a waypoint from the My Collections list. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. My waypoints and routes show up in a drop-up box at the bottom of My Collections,and I can select them there, but the Properties tab mentioned in the Help docs never appears. The Youtube video I looked at showed the waypoints listed in the My Collections box, not in a drop-up box at the bottom.

To see the properties of a waypoint, you have to use the select-tool (select-icon at the top (arrow)) and click on the waypoint.

Then the new tab with properties will popup.

If you don't select a waypoint first, there is no properties-tab.

OK, finally figured it out. Somewhere along the way I had dragged the properties bar down so that it wasn't visible-duh. Glad that's figured out.
