Hello there,
I just gotmyself a dakota 20 for my birthday and im trying to set it up for some hikes,
I am totally new to this, but i like to go hiking and bought myself a few hundred miles of birdseye view to load up.
however, the map that i have to highlight for whatever areas i want to buy is woefully bare in details, making it impossible for me to select mountais i would like to load on. the 3d map option is not highlightable.
Bear in mind im a complete noob at all this, anyone have the time, and patience to help?

The 3D option only works if you have a map that supports 3D. I assume you don't that's why that is not an option.

As to BirdsEye, there are a few more threads on this forum that there might be some issues with BirdsEye at the moment.

Does selecting a smaller area for the download work any better?

ok, i got it sorted, using google maps and some guesswork lol. is there any way to preview what your buying? as when the birdseye loaded it was easy to see.
