I am trying to import a ride from my Edge 800 onto Basecamp to view the route etc, but when I click on Import and look in the Newfiles, Course, Activities etc I cannot see the new file. Am I looking in the wrong place?
All you would have to do is to connect the device to BaseCamp and the data should show up under the device.
However, you currently will have to use the BaseCamp Beta (https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=19393), not version 3.1.3 because we added better support for fitness devices (FIT file support). The final 3.2.1 release should come out pretty soon as well, if you'd rather wait for a non-Beta release.
