Managing track points

Hi.
I own Edge 800 with inserted SD micro card with maps. Base camp regulary recognizes the unit and also there is no problems do upload or download f.e. waypoints to the unit. When the unit is connected to the computer I've got two possibilityes to send data: one to internal memory and another to SD card memory. The problem is that after I upload f.e. waipoints to te SD card memory I can't delete or do anything with them, whereas I can manage to manipulate them if I upload them on the device's internal memory via Base Camp.
In first case (SD Memory) I can only manipulate with them (deleting, etc) via Windows Explorer.

Any ideas???

Unfortunately, this is the way the system is currently designed.

Some devices don't handle editing of data on memory cards very well. We currently assume that a memory card can go into any device, and so we've taken the most conservative approach (i.e. not allowing data to be edited, only added). We are evaluating other options so that we don't handicap the users of all devices.

O.K., tkanks, I was only doubting that there is something wrong with the device. I'll keep managing data via internal memory rather.
