Preloaded Map and Resetting Oregon 550T

I have an Oregon 550T that I bought with TOPO US 100K preloaded. I am wondering what happens if I select Reset to Factory Defaults. Do I lose that map altogether? I have reasons to want to go back to factory defaults but since I didn't get an SD card with this unit I am wondering what my options are. Thanks.

Hi every one I am asking the same question as I have a micro sd with maps on and a cd with great Britain and topo maps but when I turn on it says no maps found but if I click ok then I get the sd card maps but without topo, can I wipe it clean and start again bearing in mind the cd code does not work and I have only just purchased this model as a second hand version.

This is a device issue, not a BaseCamp one. Please contact Product Support for help.

Not sure what you mean by wipe it clean and start again, but if the CD doesn't work and you delete the maps on the sd card then you'll have no maps.
