BaseCamp not showing caches on removeable media

Until recently I stored caches on the internal memory of the 62s, in the GPX folder.

Due to reindexing probs noted on the forums ( and from experience myself ), I thought it may be a good idea to load the caches onto the SD card in the GPX directory, then if the 62s 'looses' the caches while I am out, I could remove the SD card, reboot the GPS, turn off, load SD card and reboot again to reindex the cache GPX files......that way they can 'come back' while I am out, if any probs.....

What I have now noticed is the GPX cache files do not appear in BaseCamp under the removeable media, 'All Data' folder - hence I cannot display them for planning with my loaded Discoverer maps, when the GPS is connected to my PC. Is this a noted issue? As a work around, I have to manually import them ( from SD card ) into 'My Collection' in the library; then I can see and plan as before.

Previously, when the GPX files were loaded into 62s internal memory, the cache files would appear under the 62s 'All Data' folder, without any additional import required.

Anyone else found this to be an issue? I am running the latest 62s beta and latest BaseCamp version.

Thanks

On an SD card, BaseCamp currently only supports reading a single GPX file named "userdata.gpx". If you manually copied your caches file to the SD card, this is likely the reason they don't show up. If you copied the caches inside of BaseCamp, it should place them into this file.

We are evaluating options to improve the usefulness of a device's SD card from inside of BaseCamp.
