I have been getting this Message for the last 3 or 4 days, when I`m trying to download Birdseye map segment."One or more Birdseye Imagery contained Images that failed to download. They could not be sent to the device."They show up in Basecamp alright.I`ve tried to send the Imagery to my device and I get the same message.I keep trying to redownload the same area and end up with the same message.I even tried a couple of different areas and get the same Message.I`m using a 16 GB card (only used 3GB.)and the download is about a 150MB or 170 SQ KM.in the highest detail.Sure would like some help.

It varies, anywhere 3 images to 13 images, sometimes only 1.I use AT&T DSL High Speed Internet. It Just started doing this.I have 40 Birdseye Imagery Downloaded so far.All around 150MB`s each or around 170 sq km. and I have them set at the highest detail.I just updated Basecamp to 3.1.3 and it is still doing it.One area was around Milan,Ohio and the others where around the Ohio-Indiana Border.

Now I went back and downloaded the area around Milan again, only this time in smaller segments. The first segment loaded up OK.The second segment gave me failed message again,I hit the download button again and It downloaded it.Myself I think the Birdseye server is acting awful squirrelly lately.A couple of other areas I was having problems with, are OK now. This has been off and on for the last couple of days.

I find this happens all of the time.... Restarting Basecamp fixes it.

It would be nice if you could still send the images to the GPS despite missing a few photos. The missing 1 out of 10000 seems a little strict.

The unlock code that is sent along with the imagery to the device is for the complete image. So if the device came across imagery with missing tiles, it would think that it is a tampered image.

It is possible that the server can be busy at times and some of the tiles don't download. In that case, you should be able to re-download the missing tiles from within BaseCamp.

That has been working for me.I just wait a few minutes and then go back to Basecamp and re-download it.Now the last few days I haven`t had any problems at all.Knock on wood!
