I haven't been in here to download any maps for almost 9 months and am having problems. I downloaded latest version of Base Camp 3.1.3, Updated software in Oregon 200. I try to transfer maps to my oregon and pop ups say Problem commucating with Oregon 200. Error occured while Reading files H:Garmin/gpx/current/current.GPX. Green line comes up and starts to send but then another pop up says Error occured while Sending files. H:/garmin/birds eye/Dubuque.jnx.
Also I noticed that last year when I made some Birds eye maps I could make maps with the Standard resolutions and get 285 MB of map area. Now I seem to only get 100 MB out of the Standard.
Thanks for any help. Frogman

Just went back in and did not plug in oregon 200 until base camp was loaded. As soon as I plugged it in I got a pop up that reads.... There is a problem communicating with Oregon 200 (Unit ID ------) (H:) An Error occured while Reading the following file. H:/garmin/gpx/current/current.GPX

Can you manually open the current.gpx file?

Will it be the end of the world if you lose any waypoints or the active track on the unit? If not, I would do a master reset. This usually fixes these sort of problems.

Thanks Red. I will try that when I figure how to transfer my way points to the base camp first before losing them all. Thanks again
