Waypoint properties: Depth field??

I often use my Garmin to record fishing spots, and on my Garmin 78 (and in Mapsource) there is a field for "depth". When the waypoints get imported into Basecamp, there is no "depth" field. Is this a software oversight or am I just not seeing it.

Maybe it's a way of getting you to use HomePort. Garmin's 'Marine' version of BaseCamp. Just a thought.

HomePort is our marine trip planning application. It has this feature, as well as other features, that make marine trip planning easier.
