How many BirdsEye tiles

Hi,
i have 200 BirdsEye tiles on my 16 Gb SD card. If i add 1 more, my gpsmap 62s turn off.
Is it have a 200 limits for BirdsEye tiles ?

I don`t know but I am running into the same problem. I have 200+ maps and when I turn on my Oregon 450,it comes up to the Menu screen then turns right back off.What`s up Garmin? If there is a limit you should say so.

Devices have a limit of 200 BirdsEye imagery.

For now, one solution may be to take 4 adjacent 5000 tile images and redownload them as 1 20000 image now that the limit has been increased. Sorry for the inconvenience.

All these devices have always had a 200 file limit for everything. Some strange coding reason that probably made sense to some coder 3 years ago.

Sort of like MS-DOS. Nobody could EVER use more than 640 kB of RAM...... That is crazy talk....

It IS too bad that they don't let the unit coders have a forum on here.... Or maybe they don't deal well with users. :D

That`s what I`m working on now.I went back and deleted all of my birdseye Imagery files and am starting over.How do you get 20000 images?The most Tile images I can download is10100 to 10200 images.Which is about a 154MB,Then I get a message that says"You have exceeded the download size limit of the Image server.Select smaller size or lower your detail level.".That covers an area of about 170Sq Km.I`ll try this and see what happens.Unfortunatly it takes about an hour and a half to download the larger files.:eek:
