All objects are still mirrored incorrectly. PLEASE fix this either by fixing ALL GPS or fix it in Mapsource/Basecamp. Cause it is plain stupid to have maps mirrored on GPS vs Mapsource/Basecamp.

Any map that shows side relevant ways, will be displayed incorrectly either on Basecamp or on GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the third time (over the last 5 month) that I mention this bug here in the Basecamp/Mapsource section. Notice forward/backward direction is correct, but left/right all lines are mirrored. Damn annoying and giving incompetent image that this error ain't fixed yet one more time.

Look at the cliffline (any good topo map should have clifflines, it's a shame Garmin topos don't - or better else this bug probably couldn't have passed quality control).

As on all GPS I have seen and in Mapsource 6.13.6:
    " />">

Incorect cliffline in Basecamp 3.1.3: Same behavior as all Basecamp version and Mapsource 6.14 - 6.16.3:
    " />">

Can you provide a link to an installer for this map? And a location where this behavior is visible?

The easier you make it for us to reproduce this issue the more likely we will fix it.

Of course: Installer from here: ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/misc/openstreetmap/openmtbmap/mtbaustria.exe

Location: Salzburg (you can find it via city search) or: N47.79732 E13.03940
    (WGS84).

The problem happens on all line types that are asymetrical. Like routes. But if it is only asymetrical, usually it does not matter when a route is on the wrong side, as all asymetrical stuff is mirrored.

But a cliffline should face the proper direction (even though probably 80% don't know which direction is which, for people that are able to read topo maps, this is a nogo if the cliff faces the wrong side).

I don't mind whether this is fixed on Mapsource/Basecamp or on all GPS (also older ones like etrex series with .TYP-file support). It simply has to be fixed on either side. Practically of course neither is wrong or correct, it just has to be consistent).

BTW: I the signature picture system seems broken. My sigpic gets replaced by the mapsource symbol whenever I upload it.

Well, the most likely thing to happen would be to adjust BaseCamp to display the cliff-lines the way MapSource 6.13.6 does (if that is what the devices do).

No promises though, as usual. :)

Well, don't forget about Mapsource 6.16. It's probably a tiny bug in the software. Basecamp1 and Mapsource 6.14 to 6.15.6 completly munged asymetric objects, at least for those versions you fixed it after my complaints (and quite a few Garmin country subsidiaries using asymetric objects too in their maps - bout 1 year after I first used them).
