kmz to basecamp

Good morning !
When I try to load a route.kmz (from google earth) in basecamp, I've an error message "The file doesn't contain the parametres groundOverlays" (in french " le fichier ne contient pas les parametres groundOverlays"

Is anybody has the answer please ?

The simple answer is that you can't.

I hope the Basecamp developers will put in a more truthful error message some day. The error should read that you are not allowed to import anything other than custom map files in KML/KMZ format into Basecamp.

A better fix to this problem would be to change the menu selection to "Import Custom Maps" so nobody is fooled into thinking they can import other stuff in KML/KMZ format.

Or they could just make the program work the way we think it should and actually import data in KML/KMZ format. :D
