We are a group of educators that teach other eucators about GPS and GIS. We have been using garmins for over 10 years. Still love the 60 series, sorry to see it leaving.
With changing units to the 72H we decided to use BaseCamp for our software. One reason schools using PC or MACs can use it. I just finished our manual for BaseCamp and after getting into it, I really like the way it is designed. learned a lot of little tricks in developing the manual.
I just finished the section on geotagging and hve a few suggestions to add to it;
1. When you click on it the size should be larger so it can be viewed better.
2. Under Properties for the picture should have the ability to rotate the picture to view it correctly?
3. Have the ability to add text to the picture or a file linked to it - be great for schools to have pic with an attached file/doc that tells more about it.
