Is there anyway in Base camp to create a legend for the icons or to move the name of the way points. Some of my locations are so close on a printed map that they overlap and I can't get them cleaned up enough.
Have you tried the option to change the Display Mode? This is in the properties page of waypoints. You can select multiple waypoints and change their display mode. For example, if I want to see only the icon when the waypoint is drawn on the map (while it is not selected), i would set it to Image.
