Trying to add some waypoints to my map in Basecamp. Clicked a position on the map,opened the properties dia. box but cannot edit the lat /long.How do you add waypoints to a map in Basecamp?In GE you can put the coord. and the symbol will snap right to it.Not in Basecamp?
There are many ways to create waypoints in BaseCamp. Some of these are:
1. If you have a lat/lon, press Ctrl-T or View->Recenter Map to and enter the lat lon. You can then create a waypoint from that dialog
2. If you have the name of a point of interest, you can use Ctrl-F or Edit-Find and enter the name. You can create a waypoint from the results of the find
3. If you have neither and want to create a waypoint on the map, use File->New->Waypoint and you can click anywhere on the map to create a new waypoint.
