Geocache lables

When I import a pocket query with a number of gecaches, is there a way to shorten the cache name or change to the GC code. The map is covered with all the names and very hard to read.
I'm sure I could run it thru GSAK and back out...but a feature in Basecamp would be great.

Have you tried the feature for Waypoints to turn off display of waypoint names? Select a waypoint, go to its properties- change Display Mode from Symbol and Name to Symbol. When that waypoint is displayed on the map and it is not selected, only the symbol will be drawn now.

Would the addition of that feature to GeoCaches help solve this problem? The solution you suggested sounds good too, but if a general purpose solution works for you, that would be ideal.

Thanks for the reply but if I understand correctly thjat would be one at a time.
I have 1500 or so Geocaches loaded when I select My collection...and it would take forever,:)
A global feature to select no label at all or the GC code would be ideal.
    It is on my wishlist!
Basecamp is a wonderful program and makes paperless caching very easy as we have the netbook with us when we are out Geocaching.

One other feature would be to ask, when Basecamp is loaded and you attach a GPS , would like you to load all the maps and Geocaches from the GPS. Unfortunately, my netbook is limited on HD space, and if I have Basecamp running when I hook up the GPS it starts to transfer all the Birdseye files onto the Computer.. and it can't handle all of them. I sometimes want to load just the tracks when we have been hiking but it grabs everything and all the Birdseye files won't fit.
I always have to go into the computer and find the hidden BE files and delete them.
Again, on my wishlist...What would you like to load...BE, Geocaches, Maps, Tracks.
Again, Basecamp is a great program..but it can be tweaked.

It won't be one at a time. You will be able to select all your GeoCaches and change their display mode to symbol only.

Actually, this feature already exists for waypoints. But it might not be widely known. You can select multiple waypoints (Ctrl or Shift click) or all your waypoints (Ctrl-A). Now you can go to the Properties tab and batch edit the properties of all the selected waypoints.

Sorry, I don't see how to do the batch edit...?

Select the group of waypoints you want to edit, then click the Properties tab (or right-click on any one of them and select Properties).

    ...ken...
