Base Camp won't load! "Error Dectected" msg

I installed base Camp on my XP-Pro machine and it appeared to instally normally. When I go to open it, it begins to open... shows the spalsh screen and then begins to display the basic program window but then it disappears and small minimized window appears saying
"Error Detected.... Contacting Garmin Servers..." appears. Nothing happens afer that. Can anyone help???? I tried to reinstall... didn't work.

Download and install BaseCamp 3.1.2 and let us know if that solves your problem.
