3D view not working in Base Camp 3.1.1 and 3.1.2

I recently updated Base Camp to 3.1.1 and then 3.1.2. When I open it I now get a message that 3D view will not work and I need to update my video drivers. 3D view option is grayed out. Map I am using is Topo US 24K West. This is happening on both my Laptop (Compaq) and Desktop (e Mach). It worked OK prior to 3.1.1 and I used it quite a bit.

I checked my drivers and updated on the Desktop so it has Catalyst Center and OpenGL support to 2.0. Garmin said I needed 1.3. Still does not work. Also checked BIOS as they requested, it is OK. The manufacturers of the two units are different but they both have ATI Radeon Xpress Series video adapters, so that is suspect. However the Open GL extension viewer says all is OK.

Garmin is still looking at the problem. Anyone else out there have this issue?

Problem solved. Tried 4 different display adapter drivers from ATI. All supposedly supported OpenGL 1.3. Only one that worked was one they called their Legacy Driver Version 10.2. It is a composite driver that supports nearly every adapter card and chip set they have manufactured up to 2010. It fixed both units.
