Unable to import ANYTHING into BaseCamp from Edge 705

G'day all...

I am now no longer able to import anything into BaseCamp from my Edge 705. This is the error message I get:

There was a problem communicating with EDGE705 (Unit ID XXXXXXXXXX) (G:).

An error occurred while reading the following file(s):

G:/Garmin/GPX/Current/current.GPX
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I have no problems importing the contents of the GPS into MapSource.

Any ideas?

One of the routes in your Edge is damaged. Delete the damaged route (which to you could be the last route and just functioning normaly in the Edge.

Current.gpx only has favorits and routes inside.

If you fail to find the "bag guy" then a hard reset (back to factory) is the only solution.

I don't think it was the routes after all. The problem seems to have fixed itself after I added a new waypoint using MapSource. It must have corrected whatever was wrong with the current.gpx file.
