i have no idea how or why, but after closing BaseCamp and rebooting, it seems to be fine now!
KML from GE - problems with Points
i'm a new user to BaseCamp, but have played with it some. i imported my tracks from BaseCamp to Google Earth and made some edits. i then want to import the changes to BaseCamp, then to my GPS unit (Astro 220).
i'm able to convert my .kml file to .gdb using GPSBabel, my problem comes when i import the .gdb file into BaseCamp. every point from my track (which originated in BaseCamp) now has a label which is the lat/long! obviously, this makes the map/tracks hard to view as it's filled with lat/longs... any idea what i'm doing wrong?
is this a simple option i just don't know about?
any help is greatly appreciated. remember, i'm a newbie - go easy on my if it's just my ignorance :) i've tried searching the boards and couldn't find much in regards to GE to BaseCamp import/exports.
