I have been using Basecamp for a while now, but one thing I don't like about it is the thickness of the tracks. Is there any options that I can use in Basecamp to thin out the tracks, or do I have to live with it...
There is no option to change the thickness of tracks. Have you tried changing the color of the track to transparent (Track Properties: top right corner). Does that help in what you are trying to accomplish?

Thanks Neo..that is what i want to accomplish. One bad thing is that I would not be able to use color, but i can live without it... thanks again.
