I have loaded a Custom map, and a Birdseye image covering the same area in a List under My Library, in that same list I start plotting a track. I have tried switching to the custom map and to the birds eye image to have it as background when I am editing the track, but no matter which item I select last or which one I tell (Right click / show on map), when I switch to the track, the custom map is always displayed on top of the garmin birdseye. I had to send the custom map temporarily to another list to be able to have the birdseye image on the background when editing the track. It would be nice to have some sort of layer control for this type of items , such as bring to front, send to back option for multiple custom maps, birdseye images that may be loaded on the same area in a list
I would like to add a request for this also. But not just for BirdsEye images. In my Oregon I can enable my 24K topo maps along with BirdsEye images and a snowmobile trail map that loads over the top of everything else. It would be great to be able to get this view in BaseCamp for creating and editing routes.
