I have an Oregon using GB Discoverer 1:50 Mapping. I am attempting to create a track in Basecamp 3.1.1 but each time Basecamp crashes and I get an "Error Detected" pop-up (see screen print).
If that isn't frustrating enough I am invited to send an error report, with my email address and problem description. Having tried, I then get a message telling me that Basecamp was unable to to send the error report to Garmin and inviting me to copy the error report log file and paste it into an email (see next screen print). Imagine my surprise on clicking the "Copy Error" button to have the pop up screen disappear before I can copy or use the email link. So, try again, this time trying to open the link. That doesn't work so I manually copy the email address into my email. Then I click on the "Copy Error Report" button ( as usual the pop-up disappears) but the log isn't copied and I am unable to paste it into my email.
My first reaction is what am I doing wrong, but repeated attempts get the same results. What started as a small problem has escalated because I am unable to get the support I need.
Has anyone else had similar issues, both with my original problem and difficulty in sending error reports?
