I've just updated my basecamp from 3.0.6, and all my data has dissapeared!
Tried to use restore option from last backup, and i recive the message "restoration completed succesfully", but data continues all clear.
I had done several attempts on uninstall and reinstall 3.0.6, and restoration works ok, but when updating to 3.1.1 data is cleared again.
One of the times i got a message like this:
"It could not have loaded the following areas:
Data list files
Warning: Data may be lost
Do you want to repair data or cancel?"
If "cancel" program aborts. Otherwise, continues and data is cleared. All times, restoration of backup gets message "restoration completed succesfully", but data continues clear.
Some suggestion? Thanks. Mike

    To troubleshoot this issue, the best alternative would be for us to take a look at your backup file. Please e-mail me at [email protected] and add a link to this discussion. In your e-mail, also mention how big your backup file is, so that we can figure out how best to transfer it.

    Lost Map in Basecamp 3.1.1

    I received my 62s recently and installed Basecamp 3.0.6. I was able to see 2 basic maps one called Global Map and when I connected the GPS (62s) I was able to see another Map which even though basic was better than te Global Map, specially since I am looking at South America (Brasil, Bolivia, Chile) . Can anybody tell me why I lost such map or where can I get it?
    Regards,

    For future reference, feel free to create a new thread if your question is on a different topic than the original thread. This will help both the poster and other users on the forum when you come back to the forum later to find answers for a specific topic. If the response below doesn't answer your question, please post follow-up questions in new thread.

    @ESQUICKSALL,
    To move a track point from its original co-ordinates to a different one, you would use the Move Point tool for tracks. First select the Track tool. Then select the Move Point tool (see screenshots). Use the mouse to drag track points to new co-ordinates on the map. If you want to use a particular co-ordinate, you would zoom in and use View->Recenter Map to (Ctrl-T) to help you verify that you've moved it to the correct co-ordinate.

    @EAPH_2000,
    BaseCamp will automatically read compatible map products from connected devices. When you launch BaseCamp without any device connected, BaseCamp provides you a WorldMap. If you now connect your 62s, in addition to WorldMap, BaseCamp will also let you use the map on your 62s.

    The issue reported by MXAXMX is due to a problem in the way BaseCamp migrates routes that contained avoidances imported from MapSource. There is a separate post to help other users who might be experiences this issue.
