"Multiple new BirdsEye products"?

One of the features of the latest update is "Added support for multiple new BirdsEye products."

Does that mean new BirdsEye download products are going to become available (such as scanned USGS maps)? Or does it just refer to new handheld models (like the GPSMap 62) that support BirdsEye?

It's a rather ambiguous statement... :)

Answering my own question.... I see that Garmin has rolled out "BirdsEye Select" in the EU. I wonder if we will see something similar with USGS topo maps here in the US?

That line in the release note refers to the new BirdsEye products listed in the link you posted.

Je viens d'acheter un GPS Garmin eTrex 20. Je n'arrive pas à y installer BirdsEye Select Kompass - Switzerland. Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider?
