We've heard from you on how BaseCamp slows down after you have downloaded a bunch of BirdsEye imagery. So, for this release, we've made some significant changes to improve our performance under heavy load. We want to hear from you on how this is working for you. Post here and let us know.

Huge improvement in startup time and reliability. Plus panning around with Birdseye turned on seems to be improved as well. Some great work done here :-)

Once the file transfer was completed the speed improvement was HUGE. Good work Basecamp team, thanks for listening to us.

(now tell TPTB to get a Colorado firmware update in the works to add Chirp and maybe multicache functionality)

Not using BirdsEye data, but have amassed a dense web of tracks and waypoints--and the difference when dragging the map is obvious. Nice work.
