Hi, I have just bought a Dakota 20 with the OS Discoverer All GB maps. However, there is a license restriction that prevents the printing of map selections. I also have the Memory Map application and the GB 1:50000 National Parks and some sections of the 1:25000 of the Lake District. There is no such license restriction on the OS maps in Memory Map and they are similarly priced to the Garmin offerings. Why is this restriction in place and is it possible to license the product so that map selections can be printed?
I have not seen one myself (have seen this notice with pre-loaded City Navigator on the Nuvi, pre-loaded US Topo 100k on the Oregon and a pre-loaded Garmin 24k data card).
But honestly, I have never felt the need to print any of Garmin's maps. That's why I use a GPS. :D
