MGRS grid interval

Looking for help setting the MGRS or USGS grid intervals when printing maps in Garmin BaseCamp.

Currently I have BaseCamp set to print MGRS grid but they are printing 1.5K grid squares and i need to print 1K grid squares.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BaseCamp does not have an option to select a particular grid interval. It has heuristics for picking a "round" number for the grid interval. The spacing will change with the zoom levels, so it may be possible to get the desired spacing by printing at a different zoom level.

So you were right if i Zoom in i can get the 1km Grid interval i want, But the problem is now that when I print the sheets the lines do not come out to a standard 1km interval although the grid lines are labeled as 1km.

I would think that this is a scaling issue during printing although Actual size and print to screen options don’t seem to effect the distance between grid lines.

Could this be a printer issue ?
