In BaseCamp is there a way to see what USGS quad name a particular feature is located in? I have the Garmin 24K west topos and it would be helpful if I could see the quad names and boundaries on my computer screen at different scales.
The only way to see quads on the map right now is to search for them. To do this bring up the Find toolbar (Ctrl-F, Edit=>Find). Change the drop down to be Public Land Survey => Quad, enter a city to search near or just pan the map to the approximate area you would like to search and hit enter or click the green arrow. You can also add a search term if there is a specific quad that you are trying to locate.
As you click on one or more of the found quad names on the right hand side the area will be outlined in red and shaded in the 2d view.
