Bicycle Routing is broken in Basecamp 3.0.6.

Whatever route preference (highways-->minor-roads) one chooses on shorter distance the route stays the same, but on the even more strange side however the arrival time changes. There seem to be big bugs!

Why can Garmin never get proper bicycle routing (i.e. Turn Time Penalties are simply crazy and wrong for bicycles)? Sorry but the developper of the bicycle routing does probably not even know what a bicycle is!

Sorry that we haven't met your expectations for this feature. I'll add this as an item for continued investigation.

Interesting post. I asked my Dakota 20 to navigate to a destination 'avoiding highways'. It wants to take me down a horrid major road rather than a minor road running parallel (which is also maked on map as a Sustrans route). I've set the planning to bicycle mode. Ideally I'd like to avoid 'A' roads altogether (I'm in the UK)

In my view the main problem is, that the hight of a track is not taken into account. So the time estimation is nice for a car, which is not that much influenced by acclivities, but for a bicycle this would be compulsive!
At least with topo maps this should be feasible.
