Just copying this problem from Mapsource.

    My maps are here: http://www.calgarycachers.net/trailmaps/downloads.htm

The "detailed" maps are only trails, and are overlays (do not use a background). This allows them to be overlayed on the GPS over other detailed maps. It works well. I believe Garmin's own trail maps work the same way.

In Mapsource, I use a preview map that has roads and water detail through to level 0 (same levels as the detailed maps). This gives information within Mapsource for planning purposes on the computer. The information in the preview map does not transfer to the GPS allowing the user to use the road map of their choosing. It is needed as seeing multiple map sets is not possible within Mapsource at the same time. It has worked well in the past with all Mapsource versions. With this version the detailed maps are not visible and only the preview map can be seen. The exact same thing happens in Basecamp.

It would be great if you could look into it and undo whatever change caused it to not work.

Basecamp has always had the same problem and I've "assumed" that Mapsource inherited the problem by taking Basecamp code over...

Anyway. Any idea if this is something that you could investigate a fix for? Yes, I realize it is a 3rd party maps, etc... but everything used to work for many years in Mapsource. It also seems strange that the detailed maps are not forced to draw over top of the preview maps.
