I just changed from a 60Csx to an Oregon 450 and have discovered that I now need to use BaseCamp to transfer waypoints. Because BaseCamp operates as one large database, rather than using a file based system like MapSource, better data organizational tools are required.
The ability to sort the lists would help as would the implementation of sub-lists.
My biggest issue is that the Collection now has a lot of numbered points that clutter the list. Adding a way to filter the collection to not display unnamed points or perhaps filter by symbol or name prefix would clean the display up. Maybe a field could be added to the database along with a Boolean toggle in the interface that would allow the user to choose if a point is hidden in the main collection view.
Another feature that would help is to be able to click on a point in the collection and be able to see what list(s) the point is related to.
Overall, BaseCamp is pretty nice and I see a lot of potential.
