Hello. When I connect my GPS (60CSx) to the PC, BaseCamp receives automatically the data from the unit. The last track always is received with the name "Trackname"+"001". Then when I send some data to the GPS, the last track is duplicated and "001" is added to the trackname in the unit too. MapSource 6.16.1 receive the last track from the GPS with the "Trackname"+"001" too. I think the problem is caused by the software. If I use other software like CompeGPS or TrackMaker the tracknames are received well. The 60CSx firmware is the 4.0 version. I have one question. Is possible filter tracks to 500 points with BaseCamp? Thanks.
We'll take a look and see what might be going on with the duplicated track issue. I think I remember seeing someone else reporting this for MapSource and it may have been investigated then.
The track point filtering is a feature we are already tracking to include in a future version of BaseCamp.
