Feature request: Change line style of tracklogs

I have seen this hinted at in other threads, but not as a specific request. As far as I can see you cannot currently do this in BaseCamp (or Mapsource).

It would be great to be able to change the style (thickness) of a tracklog, not only the colour. A choice of different line styles would be a "nice to have" as well.

Also the ability to display / not display trackpoints.

If you can do it in Google Earth, it should be possible to implement this in both BC and MS.

I'll add both of those requests into our tracking system. Thanks for suggestions!

For both routes and track logs, I would like to see this done in both Mapsource and Basecamp:

In Google Earth, they call them "paths". For each path, you can set properties which include Color, Thickness and Transparency. Google Earth doesnt have "active" vs "inactive" modes (they are either displayed or not), but garmin could allow you to set those three parms for each "mode" independently: "Thick green 75% opaque when RouteX is active, and thin pink 20% opaque when not active."

Put me down for the ability to set the line thickness and colour for both tracks and routes.

Make it possible to set the attribute defaults for both routes and tracks in Preferences and also to change them for individual tracks and routes in Track Properties and Route Properties.

Please add it to Mapsource for sure. If someone ever gets around to improving the performance of Basecamp so it becomes usable, it would be nice to have there, too.
