I'm getting a message on startup saying I can't view maps in 3D until I get a new driver for my video card. Do I need to mess with any of the settings in the Catalyst Control Center? Can anyone help?
I've updated my driver for a old Radeon 9500 Pro, which supports OpenGL 1.3 (I know because I run google earth in OpenGL). But Basecamp still won't give me a 3D option.
Did you try overriding the driver version check in the registry?
If that didn't work, then try the following:
1. keep the driver version check registry disabled
2. browse to C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local
3. make a backup copy of the GARMIN_Corp folder
4. delete the GARMIN_Corp folder
5. start BC
If that still doesn't work, please post the warning/error message from Basecamp.
