Why am I getting failed images in BirdsEye download. I attempt to re-download these failed images and on the attempt to re-download the failed images, they fail again.
If you try again after a few minutes do the same images fail again? From what I've heard the servers have been quite busy due to the popularity of the BirdsEye feature.
I had this happen with one download and needed to do the whole thing again.
The biggest problem is that Basecamp would not let the images be sent to the GPS even though there was only one missing file out of 10000. It would be good if there was some leeway to send slightly incomplete downloads.
We agree that missing only a few images out of 1000+ shouldn't force you to download the whole set again. More selective re-download and transferring incomplete BirdsEye are items we're investigating for a future version.
I also ran into problems with the BaseCamp, Mac suddenly lost my download. I'm now trying to use the Windows version and i'm now stuck with 10 failed photos out of 9862. I get charged by traffic I use. one GB is 18USD so soon I already double my investment in BirdsEye view.
Had 60 CSx and was pleased how it worked. Now when I upgraded to Oregon 450 I'm not really happy with the product, none of the fancy additions work "great" and even the old features that used to be Great have new grading of "ok".
