Tracks not showing on device

I am converting tracks in GAIA to GPX tracks and then importing in to Basecamp. All no problems.

But when exporting out of Basecamp to my Garmin Montana 660 they don't appear in the list of tracks on the device. When I go in to the devices storage through BaseCamp the tracks are there but are not evident in the tracks list on the device. What is happening here?

I can't speak specifically about the Montana 660 but for my Zumo XT, tracks exported from Basecamp must be "imported" by the device. The tracks are transferred to the device as .gpx files which the device reads and converts into its needed format during the import process.
