Purchased a etrex 25 touch with base camp maps

Purchased a etrex 25 touch with base camp maps nr and for europe east and west also garmin dem topo europe, topo active. on connecting to garim I was asked to put sd card in. All maps have up dated and duplicated on sd card. All I need is a uk map. Should I delete some and which ones?

You have a "base map" on your eTrex. This has nothing to do with BaseCamp.

Sorry, no such thing as BaseCamp maps, so unsure exactly what you mean. If you mean you're seeing maps duplicated in BaseCamp with your device attached that is normal if you also asked Express to install the maps to your PC.

The "base map" is a very basic map with little detail. It exists to provide something to look at for regions you don't have a detailed map for.

You can buy detailed maps from Garmin.

There are also sources that provide free maps.
