View section PLSS

I have base camp with 24k West Topos. One of the things I find most usefull with topos is the legal description displayed Sec Twp Rng notations.

How is this viewed with Base Camp. I see where it should be available under Tools -> Options -> Display -> Features -> areas and PLSS are turned on. I don't see the PLSS featrues showing up at any zoom level or detail level even when set to Highest.

It seems a shame that one of the most useable features of a topo map is not enabled and functioning with this software.

What step am I missing? I have to download a National Forest Service map just to find the section and other featrues to put me in the right place to create waypoint for weekend hikes. This is a feature that should not have been overlooked.

Thanks for the feedback. Omitting this feature was an oversight on our part and we are looking to add it back in with a future version of BaseCamp.

In the meantime a workaround would be to zoom to the area near to where you would like to view PLS and then bring up the Find toolbar (Edit->Toolbars->Find). Select Public Land Survey from the type drop down and start the search. Selecting one or more of the PLS area results from the right side panel will display them on the map.

Alternatively if you know all or part of the name of the area you are looking for it can be searched for using the same find toolbar.
