Basestation live track + saved track

Im using basecamp with an Alpha 200k in basestation mode:

Here I can track myself and my dog (no live track in this picture).

I also defined a track beforehand that defines an area:

I want to compare my and my dogs track to this area live in basecamp (to see if we are inside or outside this area).

The problem is, I cannot display both at the same time. How is that possible?

  • I'm not familiar with your device, but most handhelds have a track manager or something similar.  By default, saved tracks are not visible on handhelds.  They must be made visible on the map via the Track Manager and selecting the Saved Track.  If the option isn't on that screen, try any sub screens that are available at that level.

  • Your solution may work on the screen of the device, but the question was how to get it done in BaseCamp on the computer.

I am familiar with a similar device, the Astro 320. I can show the tracks of the device and dog collars, or the tracks in my collection. Not both.
As a possible workaround I put a track on the device with the hope to display it when I select the device, but alas, it didn't work.
