what is the difference between these 2 files as a GPX, I can read the PDF symbol files, but not the Chrome symbol file in basecamp ? I hope this makes sense .... see below. Thankyou in advance

I am probably not using correct it language and words so bare with me on this .... in the pic supplied, there are 2 symbols that are actual GPX files that I recieved,

1)a white square with a red ssquare and a 3 point star  2) a red,green, yellow circle with a blue dot in the middle.   one I can open in basecamp and read,  the other I can't,  but other people can,  what am I doing wrong,   I cant read the circle one ...

The "circle one" is not a GPX file, it is a hyperlink to Google Chrome.

There are file names associated with the icons.

Saying what the file names are is much more useful than talking about the icons.

The file name below the red icon (for Adobe) appears to be for a "GPX" file (the last part of the name is cut off). The other icon is for Google Chrome and file is (almost certainly) not a GPX file.
