see kml file

I had saved a kml file onto my desktop. Installed basecamp and trying to import the file. When i try to import and point the file browser towards my desktop files... it does not see the file at all.

I toggle to file types to force the showing of KML/KMZ files and still does not show any files on my desktop folder.

I doublecheck in my file browser and can see it from there... but not from the basecamp file browser....

Any advice?

Mine works fine. Try an uninstall then reinstall of BaseCamp

Have you tried to "force" it to open by right-clicking the KML file on the desktop, then select "Open with" and then select Basecamp? You may have to browse for the Basecamp's EXE file by choosing the option of "Choose another app" if Basecamp isn't listed.
