Is there any free tool to split high resolution kmz map into tiles?

Hi guys,

I've made a high resolution KMZ map with Google earth pro and want to upload it to custom map of my Fenix 7X. Is there any free tool I can split big map into small tiles?

    Two suggestions for Windows:

    You can read and crop KMZ files in MAPC2MAPC (full version is £15 - and worth every penny). This is the ‘Swiss army knife’ of software to manipulate digital maps and convert them between different platforms and software. 

    Use MOBAC (free) with one of the satellite imaging mapsource files for your area of interest, then simply select the area you want and write Garmin-sized custom KMZ files directly. You can load these into BaseCamp to check the output.
