start Garmin Basecamp without history

Hi
i am new here. 

i start Garmin basecamp on windows using the following command:

"c:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\BaseCamp\BaseCamp.exe"   "D:\aagon\data\Poi\Dropbox\POI_Local\POI\Public\PDFs\P_13522.gpx" --no-history

i would like to display the GPX file without any history - means - without previous displayed GPX file in "My library" or "My collection"

How can I achieve this?

    Not sure I understand you. If you don't want anything else in your BaseCamp library except one file you must delete all the other files. Is that really what you mean?

    exactly !!!  but I do not want to delete and delete and delete each time I run the command. 
    I hope there is a parameter to tell the program to start with "no history" 

    is there any documentation for the command line parameters ?

    maybe the program keeps the history in a folder that I can clean? 
    I did not find one

    BaseCamp acts a database, not a file viewer.  The act of opening/importing a file in BaseCamp adds the information to the database and the original file is no longer accessed or needed.  Similarly, if you create something within BaseCamp it is added to the database as it is created and no file needs to be saved.

    Within BaseCamp the "My Collection" folder contains all the data in the database.  Folders and lists that users create are a means to organize data.  Perhaps the best way to think about lists is as saved queries.

    With regards to your post, the database resides in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\<folder for current version>.

    You will have to delete items prior to starting BaseCamp.  I don't think deleting the version folder will work.  I would suggest deleting the .gdb, .gfi and .bak files as a first attempt.  You may have to delete the TrackSegments folder as well.

    Of course, if you are currently importing all of your data into My Collection, then click on any item in the bottom left pane and type ctrl-a and press Delete. 

    Commands for removing all items in a list from the database while keeping an empty list would be ctrl-a, shift-Delete and Enter.  To remove a list along with new content (content only resides within that list) click on the list in the upper left pane and shift-Delete and Enter.

    I wonder if there is a command to clear the DB (initialize)

    I tried your suggestion 

    perfect. 

    killing these files initialized the DB - and running the command with single GPX file displayed only this file on the lists
