Installing MapSource

How do I install MapSource?
Is the only way to do this to find an old set of CDs with a key printed on a CD envelope?

Are you saying that MapSource would not ask for an installation key if I already have BaseCamp installed?

There is a statement on this website:
"WARNING: This software will not work unless you already own a MapSource product."

Currently I do not have MapSource installed on a laptop with BaseCamp.

It is from 2011 but still sounds relevant and implies that the answer to your question is "Yes".

Correct, provided BaseCamp is installed then MapSource will run.
