How to insert an image that's stored in Windows File Explorer

When I tried to insert an image, I got an error "The file or URL is not allowed to be inserted" Why is it not allowed?

A few ways

In a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click the Upload link (might be a faint gray on your computer) >> browse for image file >> OK.

Or copy/paste the image into your reply message
Or drag & drop the image into your reply message
Or upload the image to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
